We are a small Kathmandu practice, and that shapes how matters run. The attorney you meet at the first consultation is the one who appears for you; nothing is handed down a chain. We tell clients at the outset what the law permits, what it does not, and what the realistic outcome is — including when the honest answer is that a matter is not worth pursuing.

The first consultation is free, at our Maitighar office, by phone, or over WhatsApp video for clients outside Nepal. If you decide to proceed we set out the scope and the fee in writing before any work begins. Court fees, registration charges and any translation or notarisation costs are separate and are paid to the court or ward office directly.

Roughly speaking, our work divides into three groups of clients.

• Individuals and families in Nepal — divorce and custody, inheritance and partition, criminal defence, and property disputes.
• Non-resident Nepalis and foreign nationals — divorce where a spouse lives abroad, land and lalpurja transfers, property purchases, and visas and work permits.
• Companies operating in or entering Nepal — registration, foreign direct investment, employment, intellectual property, and commercial disputes.

Our office sits at Maitighar Mandala, minutes from the Supreme Court, the Kathmandu District Court and the Office of the Company Registrar. We appear across Nepal’s three-tier court structure — the 77 District Courts at first instance, the seven High Courts on appeal, and the Supreme Court — as well as before regulators including the Nepal Rastra Bank, the Department of Industry and the Nepal Telecommunications Authority.
